'Tis the season for mass consumerism and naturally, I have been partaking in all the festive shopping fun. I know I probably shouldn't be buying things for myself this month, especially as we don't know what Santa might bring but also because it is the season to be buying or others. Fear not, I have already purchased everyone's presents in good time and I can't wait for Christmas to give them to everyone. I would much rather give people gifts then received them but here's a few gifts To Sophie, From Sophie...
Chanel Moisturising Body Spray, 25% off at Boots - RRP £25. Whilst out on Black Friday I happened to find this little treat and how often is it then you can grab 25% off Chanel?!
I was so happy to stumble across this Katy Perry 100ml OhSo Sheer EDP just £10 from Superdrug! I now have every Katy perfume (being a massiven fan of hers) and despite being a celebrity perfume, they all smell amazing. In the past I have only tried the original Killer Queen but think I like this one even better. It's perfect if you like light, sweet and floral scents with a little kick. Suddenly I've gone from never buying a perfume for myself ever to someone whose bought two in one month.
Crocodile Faux Leather and Gold Hangbag, £10 and Star Wars Print socks, £2.50 both from Primark. I desperately needed a large, smart(ish) handbag for work and hadn't been able to find one I liked the look of. With this one, I loved the croc print and gold detail which is just enough to make me feel a bit more grown up and so got the Star Wars socks (which are awesome!) to balance me out a little.
The Poppy Eyelash Dress in Black from Missguided (see link below)
I love this stunning OhMyLove London sequin jacket. I was lucky enough to get a bloggers discount for this beauty and so thought I'd take full advantage. Perfect for any Christmas parties or even to jazz up your daily look.
Floral print V Neck shirt c/o FecBek. I received this early in the week from FecBek but was a little disappointed. It was very different from the image on the website and the material wasn't of the best quality - the buttons are kinda loose and the ends were fraying. I still really like the design but their biggest size (being an XXL) which is described as a UK14 is more like a UK10 and so not that practical for you girls out there with a bit more of a bust or looking for a more baggy fit like myself. I think I just got a bit unlucky with this one and so I'm sure I'll try them again one day.
From the link below, the Window Pane Check Sweat from Topshop. I love this jumper and have been living in it at the moment. I love the check print and it is so cosy and warm and easily dressed up for smart for work or casually thrown on with a skirt for a 80s fashion look. The brushed fabric is great although I wish I had got it a size down as I got it a size bigger not realising it already had an oversized fit.
Lace Extended Detail Skirt and Silk Feel Dropped Hem Blouse, both from Missguided. As always, Missguided never steer me wrong. I love the feel of the blouse which can be dress up or down and is completely grunge which I love. Again, loving the 'eyelash' detail on the skirt which gives a really nice length to the skirt and both the blouse and skirt are a great fit. You check find all pieces featured in todays post below, just click the links.
What treats did you bag this month? The countdown to Christmas has well and truly begun and I'm really looking forward to some good old fashioned family fun in the Athawes household. What are your plans for Christmas? Leave your comments below, I love reading them.
