Hello! Happy Friday! Back again with another Outfit of the Day to set you up for the weekend. Today's post features my wonderful friends at Sugarhill Boutique and a stylish yet practical fluffy jumper. With there being no sign of the weather getting warmer, I've been trying to find ways to keep my wardrobe interesting whilst actually keeping warm. So with the weather in mind, here is my Outfit of the Day.
I'm still clinging on to what's left of Christmas and so I really loved the little flecks of glitter in this *Lyndsey Sparkle jumper! They're really subtle but still gives you that little bit of sparkle to a practical outfit. To make it not so practical (because it wouldn't be me if it was sensible), I've paired it with a PU skirt from Topshop to add even more texture. Unlike a lot of fluffy jumpers I've purchased, this one is super soft and not at all itchy despite the glitter. I really love the cropped fit which stops it hiding your figure and the fact it can be added to most outfits to give you that grungey fashion edge. Naturally, us goth types struggle to add in a bit of colour so I paired this look with some classic red lips and a cosy Tartan scarf from Primark.
I'm also really glad to see that light force in the sky (known as the sun) again! Not just for a bit of Vitamin C but also because it gives me a good excuse to bust these amazing cat eye sunglasses out again. It's funny how the cheapest ones turn out to be your favourites. At just £5 from Camden Market, these are one of my favourite fashion finds ever.
It truly feels like this week took an age to come to a close. One highlight was that I saw Whiplash on wednesday and can't wait to share my review with you guys so stay tuned over the next few days. Bring on the weekend, I need sleep and Netflix! Hope everyone has a great weekend,
