Hi guys! Happy Friday! Are you starting to miss summer now? As much as I love winter, I think I am ready to start the transition back to Spring/Summer trend. Today I'm sharing one of my favourite new transitional pieces which you might have seen in my most recent video. Making a very slow edge in to Spring/Summer, I've decided to add a little burst to colour to my outfits and it was love at first sight with this cardigan. So without further-a-do, here is today's beloved outfit.

Crochet Cardigan - Elsie and Fred // Moon and Stars Tiara Babydoll Dress - Motel // Faux Fur Stole - Topshop // BRIT Lace up Chunky Boot // Wide Brim Fedora Hat - H&M // Gold Chain - Topman
I haven't been able to stop wearing this cardigan from Elsie & Fred since I first got it. It's super easy to wear, although at first I wondered if I liked it at all because it is so unlike anything I've ever worn before. Now it is safe to say, I love it! The crotchet design is very boho/hippy but surprisingly goes so well over a plain black dress or...most outfits for that matter. I feel it makes the perfect leap between seasons; paired with some layers, maybe some faux fur for winter or in the summer over a crop top and shorts. I also thought I'd break out this classic old Motel dress as I haven't worn it in forever! I thought I'd try to wear more patterns.
I'm SO excited for the weekend! It's been a busy week with work, an E4 bloggers screening yesterday and a launch party for LFW tonight. THEN it's the Oscars on Sunday!! I'm so excited I could burst. I will be getting the snacks in and trying to stay awake for the whole ceremony, watching eagerly ...there will probably be tears of joy. I actually managed to see ALL the Oscar nominated films so I'm very proud of myself. Can't wait!
Most importantly though- my best friend Vanessa is coming up from Southampton and I'm going to take her all over London to a bloggers night, show her the sights and to do some shopping. I can't wait to go to some amazing food places, market stalls and have a good old-fashioned catch up. Pictures to follow!
So there you have it. What are your plans for the weekend? Will you be watching the 87th Academy Awards? Who do you think will be scooping up a golden statue this Sunday?
Hope everyone has a good one no matter what you're up to!

DeleteWhat would have made my day is if Benedict Cumberbatch would have won for Best Actor. But Eddie Redmayne gave such a wonderful and humble speech that I think it's ok that he's busy polishing that statue, lol.
