Beauty Review: Nip + Fab Shimmer Leg Fix

 Hello, hello! How was your weekend? I'm back with another beauty review and today I'm looking at summer prep with Nip + Fab's Shimmer Leg Fix*  

Nip + Fab are still a relatively new brand on the UK market but having been endorsed by the likes of Kylie Jenner and ASOS, they seem to be everywhere lately. With their rather swanky looking products, they describe themselves as "premium brand available at everyday prices". Recently, I was contacted by them to try out one of their summer products and share it with you all. 

The Shimmer Leg Fix boasts to be a "super moisturiser" with a golden shimmer highlighter for "summer ready legs". Containing Aloe Vera and Coconut Oil, the cream is to be applied to the legs and works to keep them feeling silky and smooth. So does it really work? 

So at first glance, you can already see that highlighter. It has a very slight but endearing smell of rose and ginger and you can see the shimmer immediately on the skin but blends well for a subtle glow. Once applied, the product has a cooling effect and I noticed my skin did feel smooth and soft but it did leave a slightly sticky feel which goes after a while. 

For those of you who aren't such a fan of shimmer, don't worry - this just leaves a very subtle shine which I think, if anything, just adds a healthy look to the leg. If you're pale like me, it's quite understated and with a tan in the summer, this would look really lovely and add to your colour nicely.

Hours later, my legs still felt smooth and maintained the very subtle glow. Whilst I didn't think the shimmer is very obvious at all, for me it's the perfect amount of shine but I imagine you can apply more product to build up the sheen. The only thing I wasn't so keen on was the stickiness but I found that this went away soon after applying.

I've never paid much for beauty products personally, you can pick this product up for £9.95, but you only need a small amount at a time and so this should last me a while!
