Outfit of the Day: Up the Vamp

Hello, hello. Back again with another Outfit of the Day and today I'm holding on to Halloween for just a little while longer. Featuring the Lazy Oaf Cat Collar dress, I'm upping the vamp with a gothic glam, Wednesday Addams inspired look...



The Lazy Oaf Cat Collar Dress could not be more perfect for me. It's black, it's velvet, it's comfy and it's got a cat face on it. What more could a girl ask for? Just before Lazy Oaf launched their Halloween inspired Casper Collection, I spotted this on their website and had to have it. Having just found out I had gotten a promotion at my company, I felt a little treat to myself was in order and I have certainly gotten my wear out of it since. 

As with all Lazy Oaf pieces, it has some beautiful detailing, including the adorable cat face embroidery and collar. Being a smock fit, it's super easy to throw on for day or evening wear. I've paired mine with a monochrome faux fur scarf from New Look (just £10 in the sale!), some Lazy Oaf Casper frilly socks and my trusty lace-up Vagabonds. Finally, you can't go vamp without a dark lipstick and so I went for Film Noir by M.A.C - my favourite lip colour at the moment.

    Love the outfit! I am wearing my pumpkin tee today, will wear my black dress& skeleton leggings tomorrow and I have another Halloween outfit for Friday in work. Love Halloweeeeen! I love Shard by illamasqua lipstick for dark, but that Film Noir one looks gorgeous! :)

    The outfit is gorgeous, as always but I especially love the detailing with the Casper socks and Film Noir lipstick.I dress pretty much in all black all the time so this time of year is great because I have lots of choice whilst shopping unlike in summer. I hope that you have a spooktacular Halloween.

      I couldn't agree more - I dress like a vampire all year anyway haha That's why I love winter because it's way more socially acceptable - I find it hard to shop/decide what to wear in summer. Thank hun! You too! xx

    Ahhhh I am so in love with this outfit, especially this dress. It is literally the cutest thing ever. Don't really have any favorite seasonal trends at the moment except maybe dark lipstick shades for fall.
