Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope you've all had an amazing bank holiday weekend. I'm back again with another jewellery review and today I'm unboxing a little treat that showed up on my doorstep a few weeks back. Here's what's inside my House of Wonderland Jewellery Box*...
House of Wonderland are an independent, online store offering adorable totes, prints, pins and handcrafted accessories. More recently, however, they've introduced a monthly subscription service entitled Jewellery Club. Similar to Lucky Dip Club, HOW offer a series of one-off, themed boxes which can be purchased on their own or as part of a monthly subscription from which they send out a parcel of handmade treats right to your door. This particular box's theme was 1950's Diners and so you can imagine I was pretty keen to check it out when HOW got in touch. Here's what was inside mine...
The first thing I noticed was how fantastic the presentation of the overall parcel itself. Attached to the lid of the box was a little hint to next month's box which I think is a really lovely touch and also quite exciting given that it's clearly The Wizard of Oz - an excellent theme in my opinion. Besides the overall presentation, I also really like all the little parcels which make it all the more fun to open and explore the delights.
Inside the box was a cross stitch pattern of a smiley-faced burger, a diner inspired DIY garland, photograph fridge magnet, name-tag style badge, sticker pack, a vinyl pendant necklace, a pizza pendant necklace, a jelly sweet burger, a series of cards and A5 sized prints and a big red bow by Miss Cherry Makewell. For sure, HOW have definitely nailed the diner theme and you can really see the level of creativity that's gone in to the production. I also think that the subtle details are fantastic - the burger and hotdog print on the tissue paper, as well as the little 'open me' stickers on the envelopes.
Overall, I do think that this particular box is much more of a lucky dip than an actual jewellery club and so not entirely what I was expecting. I do, however, love the theme of the box and think the quality is there for sure. If you love collecting stationary, keepsakes and craft pieces then this is certainly the box for you and if you can get a theme you're particularly interested in. You can check out House of Wonderland's website and all their unique goodies here or, alternatively, you can check out the monthly subscription service here. Thanks so much to HOW for allowing me to try out their adorable boxes, I'm already loving the look of the future themes.
Have you ever tried out Jewellery Club or any other subscription boxes? What kind of themed box would you like to see? As always I love reading your thoughts so please do leave me lots of lovely comments in the section down below.
I hope everyone's had a fantastic bank holiday weekend, until next time,

ReplyDeleteThanks hun - I think you'd love all the little bits :) x
DeleteThis looks like a really lovely selection. I agree that the 'jewellery club' name is a little misleading but I think the range of products is really nice, very on theme and the presentation is so good. =^-^=

Yeah I don't think they meant to be misleading but I'd say it's definitely more of a luckydip although that name is already taken I spose! Thanks for reading hun :) x

Yeah totally - love how vibrant it all is! I think you'd love it x
DeleteThis is so fun! I really want to try it out...I actually work for a jewelry subscription box called Rocksbox, but we only do 3 pieces per box and the customer can send it back whenever they want so they are always getting something new. This looks really fun though, and I would love to be able to style with such fun pieces and themes.

Oh really? That sounds cool, I'll have to check it out! That's interesting that they can send it back too, to like swap the items? x
DeleteDo you know if they ship the US, Sophie? I love this idea and it's so hard to find subscriptions like this here. Gorgeous pieces

I'm not sure hun, I don't think so unfortunately. It's definitely work checking out their site to see if maybe they do ship. I think it might be within Europe or just the UK at the moment. Fingers crossed for you! x
