Last week, I attended the 2017 UK Blog Awards at the Park Plaza hotel in Westminster, sponsored by ODEON Cinemas. Themed around all things superhero and celebrating a variety of bloggers from across the country, I thought I'd share some photos from the evening...
As I mentioned in my previous post about the UK Blog Awards, the awards are a yearly event which commends a multitude of influencers and social media talent. The evening presents a great opportunity for brands and bloggers to come together, network and celebrate the power of outreach with one big party.
Last year, I attended the event as a plus one of a nominated friend but, this year, I was proud to be there as a representative of ODEON Cinemas - the awards' headline sponsor. With the pop-up cinema and ODEON gluten-free superhero cake pops in place, it was time to open the door to the 600 guests. Complete with balloon artists, a Wonder Women and King Arthur photo booth from Warner Bros, handmade gluten-free superhero cake pops - here's a little sneak peak inside the awards...
Well, that's it for the UK Blog Awards 2017. It was really lovely to catch up with some familiar faces as well as meeting some new ones too. A huge congratulations to everyone nominated and all the winners from the evening. I really hope you enjoyed this post - as always I love reading your comments so please do leave me lots of lovely ones down below.
Until next time,
This looks amazing :) I wish I could have gone! x

Thanks hun, was a good night :) I liked the cake pops and film photo booths the best! xx
DeleteIt looks like it was very exciting with everyone dressed to the nines and with so many guests. What did you think of the trailer for Blade Runner 2049, Sophie? I'm looking forward to seeing Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling in that. I'm also hopeful for the Wonder Woman movie as I am rooting for a quality movie in the DCEU. On the Marvel side, I am looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy 2 soon (which I think you've seen already) and the upcoming Thor/Hulk movie for November. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah everyone really went all out! I think there was about 600 people in attendance. Yeah I can't wait for Blade Runner, the original is one of my all time favourite films so fingers crossed it lives up to the legacy. I'm sort of on the fence about Wonder Woman and Justice League and we've been so let down in the past by Zack Synder and his take on the DCEU. Who knows, maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised?
DeleteGuardians Vol.2 was fantastic so definitely go see it. I'm super excited for Thor with Taika Waititi as the director - he can do no wrong
Wah ! amazing post !
